Welcome to Muhammad SAWW

Prophet Muhammad (saww) was born in Mecca in the year 570 AD in the Quraysh tribe. His father Abdullah died before his birth and his mother Amina died when he was six years old, he was taken into custody of his grandfather Abdul Muttalib who died when the apostle (saww) was eight years old. Hazrat Muhammed (saww) was raised by his uncle Abu Talib. The prophet (saww) was uneducated thus could not read nor write as most Arab’s at that time. As Prophet Muhammad (saww) grew up, He became known to be truthful (Saddiq), trustworthy (Ameen). He was also very generous and of honorable character. The prophet was so trustworthy that they called him the Trustworthy (Ameen). Prophet Muhammad (saww) was very religious, and had always detested the corruption and idolatry of Arabs. Prophet Muhammad (saww) mosque is in Madina (Masjid-e-Nabvi). At the age of forty, Hazrat Muhammad (saww) received his first revelation (Wahy) from Allah (swt) through the Hazrat Gabriel (as). These revelations continued for twenty-three years, and they are collectively known as the Holy Qur'an. As soon as the Prophet (saww) began to recite the Qur'an and to preach the truth which Allah (swt) had revealed to him, he and his small group of followers suffered persecution from unbelievers. The persecution grew so fierce that in the year 622 AD Allah (swt) allowed Hazrat Muhammed (saww) and his followers to migrate to Madina. This migration from Mecca to the city of Madina, marks the beginning of the Muslim calendar. After several years, Prophet Muhammad (saww) and his followers returned to Mecca, to conquer it, this victory in Islam is one of its kind in which there was no bloodshed and all unbeliever’s were forgiven for whatever crime they had committed. Hazrat Muhammad (saww) died at the age of sixty-three, and Islam had spread over the greater part of the Arabian Peninsula, and within a century of his death, Islam had spread to Spain in the West and as far as East China. Among the reasons for the rapid and peaceful spread of Islam was the truth and clarity of its doctrine. Islam calls for faith in only one God (Allah swt) Who is the only one worthy of worship. The Holy Prophet (saww) was a perfect example of an honest, just, merciful, compassionate, truthful, and brave human being. Though he was a man, he was far removed from all evil characteristics and strove solely for the sake of Allah (swt) and his reward in the hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of Allah.
